Our Green Policy
- We try to be as ‘green’ as possible and therefore towels and sheets are not changed daily unless requested
- We are passionate about recycling as recycle as much as we can in terms of bottles, paper and plastic and energy saving light bulbs are used throughout the house
- We buy foodstuffs and cleaning materials in bulk as much as possible to avoid unnecessary packaging
- Vegetable peelings, egg shells, tea bags etc from the Kitchen are composted
- We have installed refillable liquid soap and body lotion in all bathrooms, instead of those little bars of soap that are used once and end up in the bin
- We have upgraded our Restaurant tables and moved to a ‘bare table’ policy, thereby avoiding bleaching and boil washing approximately 100 tablecloths a week
- We ask guests to support us by turning off lights and televisions when leaving their rooms
