Are you looking for an intimate venue for your special Day? As a small, family run business we pride ourselves on offering friendly, efficient service to ensure the smooth running of your special day. We specialise in small, private functions where our guests can have exclusive use of the function Room, conservatory and garden, or indeed, the whole Hotel, if accommodation is required.
Enjoy a glass of champagne in our conservatory and garden before sitting down to a sumptuous wedding breakfast in our light and airy function Room. We can cater for 50 guests for a formal meal and up to 80 for an evening buffet. Our restaurant serves a modern British menu, using local ingredients, simply cooked. We don’t have a set wedding menu, we strongly believe that the food should be a really memorable part of your day and therefore, a menu will be designed according to your budget and individual taste. Prices start from £15.95 per head for a buffet style meal and £25 per head for a more formal 3 course meal. We don’t charge for room hire but a service charge of 10% is added to your final bill.
In the evening, relax and enjoy a delicious buffet and dancing before retiring to one of our individually decorated en-suite bedrooms. Choose from our bold four poster room where red, black and silver prevail, or our superking room in tranquil sea colours with a huge, romantic roll top bath.

Parties
Whatever your reason for celebrating, be it a family party, special birthday, work get-together, or christening, the Conigre is an ideal location. We can also cater for funeral teas from £9.95 per person.
Enjoy a pre-dinner drink in our cosy bar or large guest conservatory where you can relax and take in the views of our peaceful garden before moving through to our large function room to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. Business Meetings
Situated within 15 minutes of the M4 (junction 17 Chippenham), the Conigre is a great location for your next Meeting, Training Day, Conference or Launch. You can enjoy exclusive use of our facilities at very competitive rates.
We can cater for all kinds of Meetings, our light, airy Function room can seat 50 delegates theatre style or 35 for a more formal presentation. We can also offer a private space for one-on-one interviews. Lunch can be taken in the Conservatory overlooking our peaceful garden or more formally in the restaurant.
Prices for a full day (9.30am to 4pm) start at £20 per person to include:
- Room Hire
- Tea/Coffee on arrival, mid morning and mid afternoon
- Use of Screen & flip chart
We also offer a full catering service to suit your requirements and budget, e.g. Buffet Style lunch from £9.95 per head to include:
- Selection of freshly made sandwiches
- Warm pizza or homemade soup
- Crisps
- Fruit
- Homemade cake
- Juice and water
